Legal notices for YaffaPOS
YaffaPOS is operated by YaffaPOS LLC dba YaffaPOS. These notices apply to the YaffaPOS register, owner portal, support, and store operations system. Formal agreements, privacy updates, and processor disclosures may be handled separately.
Authorized Use
Approved stores and users may use YaffaPOS for approved retail operations. Using YaffaPOS does not transfer ownership of its code, workflows, documentation, design, reporting logic, setup tools, or update systems.
Store Responsibility
Store owners and operators remain responsible for tax rates, payroll review, legal compliance, employee and customer notices, payment processor rules, hardware, internet, local security, and reconciliation review.
Third Parties
Payment processors, printers, terminals, operating systems, hosting providers, SMS/email providers, and other third parties are responsible for their own services, outages, fees, rules, and limitations.
Data and Privacy
Store data is used to run and reconcile YaffaPOS.
YaffaPOS may store operational records, diagnostic logs, device status, user actions, employee time-clock records, time-clock photos, transaction records, receipt records, hardware events, sync events, and reporting data so stores can run, reconcile, troubleshoot, and get support.
YaffaPOS should not store full payment card numbers or card security codes. Payment processing should be handled through authorized payment providers and configured only by approved administrators.
If time-clock photos, pallet photos, pallet videos, or other media uploads are enabled, the business is responsible for required notices, consent, retention practices, and limiting access to authorized users.
Warranty Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, YaffaPOS is provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, error-free operation, or complete data accuracy.
Liability Limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by law, YaffaPOS is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, lost profit, lost revenue, lost business, lost data, chargeback, tax, payroll, regulatory, employee, customer, hardware, processor, or business-interruption damages.
Indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by law, each business and authorized user is responsible for claims, penalties, losses, and disputes arising from their store operations, misuse, unauthorized access, incorrect configuration, legal violations, third-party disputes, employee/customer disputes, uploaded content, or business decisions made using YaffaPOS.
No Professional Advice
YaffaPOS reports, Profit & Loss tools, pallet costs, tax settings, time records, payroll exports, payment summaries, reconciliation warnings, and diagnostics are operational tools only. They are not legal, tax, accounting, payroll, employment, financial, or compliance advice.
